Empowering  black  surgical trainees through mentorship  and  shared experience.....

Join our community dedicated to advancing surgical excellence for black trainees. Dedicated to empowering black trainees, our program focuses on enhancing skills, fostering connections, and providing opportunities for growth and success in the surgical field.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

Our program is tailored to provide ethnic Black surgeons with the necessary resources and support to thrive in their surgical careers via an innovative online group mentoring programme.

The programme will provide mentorship, networking opportunities, and professional development resources to address and reduce the disparities faced by Black trainees in surgery.

The programme will combine online workshops covering relevant topics with online small group mentoring sessions to help prepare and equip trainees with tools to deal with problems and issues they may face in their training journey.

We are grant funded by the Royal College of Surgeons of England via the Grassroot In Surgery Fund.
